EDX - Angry Heart [PKS069]
Returning to reclaim his throne on top of the Progressive Empire is EDX with a great tune called “Angry Hearts” out on PinkStar Records. This is a break from EDX’s last original which took on a true Progressive style. ”Angry Hearts” has a bit of an edge that fits for more a banging club atmosphere. Love the combination of silky heaven like breakdowns into much more in your face chorus. I’m unsure of the “Dub Mix” title, but I’m assuming there may be a vocal version still wrapped up and concealed for a later release date. It'ssss time for Weekend! But not the type of Weekend you imagined! :D It's time for Weekend Heroes and their new single EP "Black Ops!". The single is released via our well-known Unreleased Digital label. Now we don't really know if the Call of Duty game had some influences for this name, but in either way, it's great! Full atmospheric progressive house w/ delightful synth stabs and groovy melody. For their second release in 2011, swiss based label Enormous Tunes delivers again, one hell of a release. This time, on the line is Nora En Pure with their single entitled Spicy. On the first listening you will recognize samples from one of the most successful singles in the last century Alcazar - Crying At the Discotheque. This rework gives laidback and lush feeling, preserving as well the main vocal theme and housey rhythm.
